As an avid teenage swimmer, Marc was shocked when he was diagnosed with cancer. He lost his leg, but within only months he swam faster than before. He won four gold medals at five Paralympic Games. Marc has now released Beyond The Call, which explores how justice, trust, empowerment, and self-sacrifice work together to produce extraordinary, "discretionary" efforts. In his speeches, he shows what happens by focusing on those things that are under your control.
